These terms cover your use of Kwitly. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

What Kwitly is

Kwitly is a tool for capturing, organizing, and reporting business receipts. It's provided "as is" — we work hard to keep it reliable, but it's currently offered without uptime or accuracy guarantees, and you should keep your own backups of anything critical (e.g. original receipts) until you've confirmed it's safely reflected in Kwitly.

Your account

• You sign in with Google; you're responsible for keeping that account secure.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the expense data you enter or approve, including anything sent to your accountant.
• You must be legally permitted to use Kwitly for business expense tracking in your jurisdiction.

AI-assisted OCR

Kwitly uses an AI model to read receipt photos and pre-fill merchant, amount, date, and VAT. This extraction can be wrong. Always review the pre-filled fields before saving, especially before sending a report to your accountant — Kwitly isn't responsible for errors introduced by automatic extraction that you didn't catch.

Fair use

Please don't use Kwitly to upload content you don't have rights to, to abuse the OCR/report-generation features (e.g. automated or excessive requests), or to attempt to access another user's data. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that put unreasonable load on the service or that we reasonably believe are being misused.

Your data

You own the data you put into Kwitly. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we store and how. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

Changes to the service

Kwitly is an evolving product. We may add, change, or remove features, and — while we'll try to avoid it — occasionally experience downtime or bugs. We'll aim to communicate meaningful changes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kwitly and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including data loss, missed deadlines, or reporting errors. Use Kwitly as a tool to assist your expense workflow, not as your sole record.

Termination

You may stop using Kwitly and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
